Every since I first held and captured a moment on the DSLR, I was mesmerised. I have always had an interest for Photography, and with the DSLR, it did grow. Sometime last year I thought about putting up some of the captures online such that I can get some reactions from some of the viewers who come to the site. So well I started a Photo blog to go along with the existing blog about the Inquisitive Mind.
First of all there were some real non issues which took on a lot of my time, from setting WordPress for the photo blog, selecting a theme and the related tinkering with the blog. What I thought was a good idea may not be so after all, I got a pluggin for easy management of the photos for the blog, YAPB. It was a brilliant plug-in but what I have realized since is that the number of themes that I have as options that I can use on the blog is completely reduced. Unless that is of course if I start to code in php, and learn to integrate the plug-in into the theme. My strength with php is not development worthy, it is only enough to manage with tinkering.
Well, add to it my concentration drifted from photos, to blog, to events. Inquisitive Events was an experiment in offline real world event management and marketing event. We gathered over 200 people on a treasure hunt across Dubai and led them into the desert whre the wonderful weather provided an interesting backdrop to an enticing event. Well all in all photography, took a bit of a back seat. Now a few months later, the Photo blog is craving for attention and I am going to give it the attention that it maybe needs.
With this here are a few pics from the photo blog that have got appreciated in the past, and some that I have learnt over time.
