I was browsing the blogosphere and stumbled across a very interesting article today, Dihydrogen Monoxide. Its ridiculous, there is abundance of this deadly chemical in the world, and I would really like to warn you about this chemical. So much so that I am willing to add more information about this chemical so that you all can make your judgement yourself. We see this chemical all around us, and although the governments dont want to tell s the truth about this chemical, I will attempt to. Even if most of the larger blogs do not want to talk about this really dangerous chemical. Please spread awareness about this chemical so that we can save our precious resources.
Below is a description done by a research student in his paper.
Dihydrogen monoxide is colorless, odorless, tasteless, and kills uncounted thousands of people every year. Most of these deaths are caused by accidental inhalation of DHMO, but the dangers of dihydrogen monoxide do not end there. Prolonged exposure to its solid form causes severe tissue damage. Symptoms of DHMO ingestion can include excessive sweating and urination, and possibly a bloated feeling, nausea, vomiting and body electrolyte imbalance. For those who have become dependent, DHMO withdrawal means certain death.
- is also known as hydroxl acid, and is the major component of acid rain.
- contributes to the “greenhouse effect.”
- may cause severe burns.
- contributes to the erosion of our natural landscape.
- accelerates corrosion and rusting of many metals.
- may cause electrical failures and decreased effectiveness of automobile brakes.
- has been found in excised tumors of terminal cancer patients.
Contamination is reaching epidemic proportions!
Quantities of dihydrogen monoxide have been found in almost every stream, lake, and reservoir in America today. But the pollution is global, and the contaminant has even been found in Antarctic ice. DHMO has caused millions of dollars of property damage in the midwest, and recently California and Japan.
Despite the danger, dihydrogen monoxide is often used:
- as an industrial solvent and coolant.
- in nuclear power plants.
- in the production of styrofoam.
- as a fire retardant.
- in many forms of cruel animal research.
- in the distribution of pesticides. Even after washing, produce remains contaminated by this chemical.
- as an additive in certain “junk-foods” and other food products.
Companies dump waste DHMO into rivers and the ocean, and nothing can be done to stop them because this practice is still legal. The impact on wildlife is extreme, and we cannot afford to ignore it any longer!
The American government has refused to ban the production, distribution, or use of this damaging chemical due to its “importance to the economic health of this nation.” In fact, the navy and other military organizations are conducting experiments with DHMO, and designing multi-billion dollar devices to control and utilize it during warfare situations. Hundreds of military research facilities receive tons of it through a highly sophisticated underground distribution network. Many store large quantities for later use.
Unbelievable isn’t it ? What if I told you to read the name again, dihydrogen monoxide :
DiHydrogen = Hydrogen x 2 and
Monoxide = Oxyden x 1
More commonly known as H2O or our beloved water.
Well I was not lying after all, if you go back and read the research paper you will see that most of the statements are applicable to water. In is enough to fool the best of us, In fact, In September 2007, news media reported that a New Zealand MP was tricked by a letter from a constituent asking her to raise the issue of “dihydrogen monoxide” (DHMO). Obviously the letter went to his experts who confirmed that the substance cannot be banned as “withdrawal effects of DHMO are even worse”.
This example does aptly demonstrate the kind of fallacious reasoning that’s thrust at us every day under the guise of “important information”: how with a little effort, even the most innocuous of substances can be made to sound like a dangerous threat to human life. Moreover, you cannot really take everything you read in the papers seriously, Indian Media is making sure that things like this are taken to a limit of journalism, making news of anything they can get to steal some air time of the viewers.
I guess this one will end up being a public service announcement, research the things you read and see. if you think the above article is not really there, well there is proof on Snopes.com, you can see here.
